The W brand nipper spring is a simple, coil-like tension spring that can be easily attached and removed from various brands of existing hoof nippers. It sits between the nipper handles and pushes them open after each cut.
Designed to "pop" the nipper handles open, allowing for one-handed use when the other hand is needed to hold a moving foot.
- This is an auxiliary tool for specific situations (young horses, one-handed use) and not necessarily recommended for continual, heavy-duty use on larger hooves
- It fits most standard rein hoof nippers, including GE Classic, MFC, Nordic, and Mustad brands. It is noted to be harder to install on the GE Easy model and does not work with ICAR Nippers.
