The Meister horseshoe, through its innovative design and manufacturing process, aims for balance and support for the horse. This horseshoe has the Support model where the toe and heel sections are slightly wider for more support. The branches are slightly narrower to balance the horseshoe weight. The built-in sole relief on the front and hind shoes reduces pressure on the sole. The Radius toe clip on the front shoe and side lips on the hind shoe have enough material at the base so that any reforging can be done without any loss of quality. The tight V-crease with coarseness and precisely placed nail holes with correct pitches provide a fit that nicely matches the natural characteristics of the hoof. This horseshoe thus allows for smooth shoeing and giving the horse the exact support it needs. The size indicated on the Meister horseshoe is two sizes larger than the ordinary Kerckhaert numbering. In addition, the marking on the shoe is a 'D' instead of the familiar 'K'.
