The IBEX Babi-Cuff horseshoes are a unique design and offer universal applications. They are designed to help correct flexural deformities in foals and young horses. Contracted or collapsed tendons, valgus/varus deviations, and medial/lateral hoof growth deformities.
The shoe is basically a cuff with 4 extensions molded upon a small egg bar, which provides stability and support and allows adjustment. Simply trim and rasp or cut the extensions that are not required. The shoes are fitted with either polyurethane, acrylic, or epoxy adhesives, whichever is the preference of the farrier or vet.
The shoes are available in 4 sizes to fit feet from 1 1/2” up to 3 1/2”.
Each size has a small amount of adjustment.
Size 1 measures 2 1/4" heel to toe and 1 3/4" wide.
Size 2 measures 3" heel to toe and 2 1/4" wide.
Size 3 measures 3 3/4" heel to toe and 2 3/4" wide.
Size 4 measures 4 1/4" heel to toe and 3 1/4" wide.
