The Centre Fit Horseshoes are specially designed to fit the foot in a balanced fashion around the widest part of the foot, which is essentially the center of rotation of the coffin joint. In addition to balancing the shoe around the coffin bone, the Centre Fit shoes incorporate leverage reduction design features that will help to minimize or eliminate much of the stress and strain of the tendons, ligaments, and soft tissue in & around the coffin joint. When applied with the recommended hoof prep guidelines, the Centre Fit shoes are helping to meet the current and future needs of the equine athlete.
